I fell in love with Music at an early age. Poetry came easy to me. I learned to play the guitar when I was 17 and fell in love with the music.
The first band I was in was called Arizona Sunrise Band. We had mild success with radio play of our lead song by the same name. Another band, "Written in Red" was short lived unfortunately. We were a bunch of great friends who loved playing, however life just seems to get in the way sometimes. I knew there was more to this life and when I asked that question out loud I received an answer. What started as an electrifying voice that shocked me with an adrenal rush, smoothed out into a marathon, learning who I am and why I'm here. God made me in His image. I was made for His pleasure and in growing to understand exactly what that meant, I learned how to love so deeply that nothing else matters. My wife calls it " squishy" LOL, but the love of Jesus is anything but squishy. He is truth. He is forgiveness. He is compassionate and He is THE only way to THE Father.
Ephesians 3:16 says You would grand me, according to the riches of your glory, to be strengthened with might by your spirit in my inner man, that Christ may dwell in my heart by faith and that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints, what is the greadth and lengtth and depth and height and to know the love of Christ which passes all knowledge that I may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Since those days, I've traveled to many different countries ( Panama, Venezuela, Mexico, China, and L.A. 🤣! ) So many different venues and locations that rounded out my knowledge of cultures and peoples.
I had the opportunity to have the morning show on both KLOD, The Star 100.1 and KQST, The Q 102.9 in the early 2000's, which was a fun gig; however, it was not what I was truly looking for.
I started recording on a 4-track cassette deck in the late 90's and have been working my craft ever since. Learning from great sound techs throughout the years and finally ending up with a digital studio.
With 40 Years of experience as an engineer, musician, composer, and producer, MG Bradley Studios began as a space to write, play, and record my own music, but quickly turned into an intimate setting where fellow musicians and singers came to play and worship. It evolved into a production studio where full albums have been hewn, stitching together raw artistic expression and professional sonic mastery. What began as a personal project for a singer-songwriter has evolved into a multifaceted hub for music production, engineering, and publishing.
I've had the opportunity to work with world class and beginner singers as a vocal instructor as well as coach. Along with playing many different instruments I also teach beginner guitar and piano. After all, the basics can be taught, the rest is up to the individual to find their God given ear, using imagination, thinking outside of the box of Traditional lessons and realizing that their own uniqueness and passion are what is most important. Lessons only show you one way to approach your desire. The rest is up to you, your heart and desire to express that magnificient voice that God has blessed you with.
